silly question perhaps. i know speedos are no toothbrush. im a swimmer i train everyday therefore i must wear a speedo. i got a friend interested in swimming and he agreed to go but had no speedo so i lent him one of mine, one i rarely use. of course i wont go lending my stuff to everyone, this friend is my best mate so i know and trust him. his mom joked about it and told us that is something you shouldnt borrow. i wasnt so happy with the comment since she was implying i may have had an STD or sumthing in my thingy. i dont since i havent even had sex yet but that they dont know. im not puzzled i just want some opinions.

I don%26#039;t really think it%26#039;s that big of a deal. I mean he is your best friend and I%26#039;m sure you washed if before you gave it to him...so what would there be to worry about? His mom, I%26#039;m sure was just joking. I swim year round and sometimes I%26#039;ll forget my suit or my best friend will and we%26#039;ll just lend them off, of course washed.

Firstly you love your sport enough to wear the apprpriate clothing,

secondly you are willing to help a friend discover the joys of swimming as well!!

As for loaning your friend your speedo - these things spend all their time in strong disenfectant (chlorine) and then get put straight in the washing machine after each use. So no it is no problem at all.
