I%26#039;m getting ready to buy a laptop and have narrowed it down to two choices: the HP 15.4%26quot; Pavilion DV6707US Laptop PC w/ AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor TK-57
or
Toshiba Satellite A215-S4817 15.4%26quot; Laptop PC w/ AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor TL58
They both basically have the same specs, except Toshiba has a fingerprint scanner, while HP has an integrated webcam %26amp; 5-in-1 card reader (not even sure what this is or if I would use it).
They%26#039;re also very close in price, so I guess I%26#039;m basing my decision on which operating system would be the best %26amp; which one has the best, sleekest appearance. What do you think?
Thnx a bunch in advance :)

Add details and state how much you would pay for both models please.
I just got a new Dell Inspiron 1520 gaming laptop with an intel core2duo T7500 processor (2.2 GHz, 800fsb, 4MB cache), 2 gigs of ram, and a 256mb GeForce 8600m video card for only $1000. Good deal after the $300 off coupon. 1520s come with integrated webcams too now ;)

Have you looked at either one up close and personal or are you buying on line?
When it comes to laptops the most important thing is to get something your going to be comfortable using. There can be a big difference in the way each model %26quot;feels%26quot;.
Since the specs on them are so close, I would suggest you go to a retail store and try them both. You don%26#039;t have to buy there. See how the hand/palm placement feels hoe the mouse pad feels to use how the screen looks to YOU. Things like that.
Whichever you buy do get an extended warranty. I don%26#039;t usually get that for any type of equipment but I do recommend it for laptops. They are pretty expensive to fix.|||exclusive focus on laptop just in
